STAK is a membership organization which draws members from various actors in the seed value chain from both the public and private sector. An independent Secretariat co-ordinates its activities in serving the interests of members. STAK has represented its members’ interests since 1982.

Duncan leads and manages the Secretariat to stimulate a vibrant seed sector. He has extensive exposure to seed and livelihood issues and advocacy work with over 14 years of senior management experience. Duncan holds a Masters of Arts in Planning from the University of Nairobi.
Joyce has been the Finance and Administration Officer at the Seed Trade Association of Kenya (STAK) since May 2012. She previously worked for Savana Seed Ltd since its inception in 2006 also as a Finance and Administration Officer. Joyce holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), she is a Bachelor of Commerce holder and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K)).
Betty ensures efficient IT and communications functions. She also supports administrative functions. Betty holds a BSc. in Information Science from Moi University.
Margaret performs administrative and office support activities for the Association.
