Job Description
Develop and implement advocacy strategies aligned with the companies goals.
Conduct policy analysis and identify gaps affecting target communities.
Engage government agencies(Counties), development partners, civil society, and private-sector actors to influence policy change.
Coordinate awareness campaigns, policy dialogues, and stakeholder forums.
Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy messages.
Support community groups to understand and demand their rights through capacity-building and empowerment.
Represent the organization in networks, coalitions, and working groups.
Monitor policy processes, legislation, and budget cycles relevant to the organization’s focus areas.
Document advocacy milestones and prepare periodic reports.
Manage partnerships with media and communication teams for public messagin
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in either political science, International relations, Law, or communications
Knowledge and experience in agriculture and seed sector is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Strong communication skills (Written and oral)
Strong track record around public relations and groups dynamics management
Analytical & Liason skills with strong understanding of Kenyan agrodealers, Government and associations landscape
Knowledge of local policy environments
Understanding of human rights
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and data analytics
