Reporting To: Executive officer – STAK Job Title of the position: Project Finance & Administration Officer Location: Nairobi but with frequent travels for project support Contract Term Period: 1 Year (Project period)
Job Description
Manage Finance for Projects
Prepare, Manage and be accountable for project budgets
Monitor project expenditures and cash flow
Produce financial and donor reports
Ensure compliance financial and donar guidelines
Support audit and carry our Monthly financial reviews
Work closely with program manager, project teams to ensure procurement compliance is strictly adhered to
Operational Support
Coordinate day-to-day project activities and logistics
Support scheduling of meetings, workshops, and field activities
Documentation & Records
Maintain project files, contracts, and correspondence
Ensure proper filing (physical and digital) for accountability
HR & Staffing Support
Track timesheets, contracts, and staff-related documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and business administration
Personal certifications (ACCA,CPA) will be an automatic advantage
Experience Required
2-5 years in project accounting/Financial management
Financial reporting and budgeting
Grant or donor funded accounting experience
Working under pressure to deliver on timelines
Tracking financial performance against project plans
Accuracy and timeliness of reports
Deep experience in accounting modules/Softwares (QuickBooks, SAP) & AMIS).
